If you sell to business customers in Germany, France, Belgium or Poland — increasingly yes, by law. Germany already requires every business to be able to receive structured e-invoices, with issuing becoming mandatory from 2027. France requires all businesses to issue e-invoices by September 2027. Penalties apply for non-compliance.
All formats are based on the European standard EN 16931: Factur-X (France), ZUGFeRD 2.x (Germany), XRechnung (German public sector), and UBL/Peppol BIS 3.0 for network delivery. Every release is tested against the official KoSIT and veraPDF validators.
Yes. You decide when invoices are created: for every order, only for business (B2B) customers, or on customer request. Consumer invoices remain regular PDF invoices where structured formats are not required.
All invoice data is processed and archived exclusively on servers in the European Union, with tamper-evident hashing and GDPR-compliant processing. A data processing agreement (DPA) is available for every plan.
